Zurich: Finance Forum

The 16th Forum was a complete success.

The world of banking met for two days at the Kongresshaus in Zurich where Comartis was represented with Netviewer at a partner booth.

The Finance Forum exceeded the expectations of the 3,000 visitors and 169 exhibitors with an interesting combination of a conference, trade show and animated discussions.

Zug: "e-Learning for SMBs: Opportunities, Costs, Value"

At Zug’s economic chamber event, Omar Lahyani, Comartis’ CEO, gave a talk to an audience of about 50 attendees.

The event’s goal was to achieve "information transferal based on practical examples of how e learning can be applied by SMBs (small and medium-sized businesses)". According to feedback from participants the goal was reached thanks to the interesting lectures and discussions that followed.

La Prairie Group: Grand-scale Re-engineering

The extranet product i-BizBox, developed by Comartis, was used under the name of "Gallery" for five brands of the La Prairie Group in Volketswil. The product has had a "face lift" in the form of a migration to the latest .NET technology.

Now the new version "4.NET" is in action. In addition, other features such as export and import functions, for example, have been implemented.

Since mid-November, the international website www.laprairie.com, which appears in seven languages, is being dynamically updated with content from the gallery.

Following the updating of the Australian web site with an online shop through Comartis, the remaining languages (German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese) were migrated.

"Belvedere" Residential Park, Zug

The city of Zug will soon have a new attraction.

As from autumn 2008, the impressive residential and hotel area Belvedere, with a beautiful park, will be created on the shores of the Lake of Zug, at the gates of the old town.

The company Alfred Müller AG, which is located in Baar, assigned Comartis to design and program a micro site. This was launched on the web in time for the Zugermesse, Zug’s trade fair.
First, the web site offers interested visitors information about the residential buildings, retirement village and hotel. Furthermore, it offers an introduction to life in and around Zug. When entering the site, a Flash intro illustrates Zug’s scenery and portrays a pleasant and sophisticated atmosphere.

Aside from the "Belvedere" web site, Comartis has already designed the corporate web site for Alfred Müller AG and the micro site for their Feldhof development. Moreover, Comartis was appointed to design the logo for the "Belvedere" residential park in Zug. The logo is a key component of such a sizeable project.
