Las Vegas – Casablanca: Comartis On the Road!

On the occasion of two international events, Comartis has had the opportunity to introduce its i-qBox to a large interested audience.

At the annual Workforce Performance (formerly known as TechLearn) in Las Vegas, Comartis was represented with its own booth.

The Workforce Performance, one of the most renowned e-Learning conferences in the US, again attracted a wide audience of specialists.

Shortly afterwards, Comartis organized the second i-qBox Forum in Casablanca.

40 top-class education and human resources managers from all over North Africa were invited. The speeches given by Mr. Thomas Glatt from the Credit Suisse Business School and Mr. Otmane Chebihi from Poste Maroc offered those present the possibility to learn more about the practical use of the i-qBox especially in the education controlling area.

Exciting conversations about experiences and the use of the i-qBox as well as its future in the scope of the roadmap introduced by Comartis provided a glimpse of future developments.

In 2006, the i-qBox has experienced various changes and improvements which were developed in close cooperation with our customers.

We attached great importance to developing new practice-related features to meet our customers' requirements.

Comartis Develops Online Shop for La Prairie Australia

Now, the skincare products of the luxury Swiss cosmetics brand La Prairie are available in Australia at www.laprairie.com.au

Based on the existing La Prairie website, Comartis developed an interface to the Extranet tool "i BizBox" for La Prairie Australia.

The "i-BizBox" provides the necessary data for the following sections of the consumer website: find a store, what’s new and product category. The personal consultation section has become more dynamic and easier to use.

The migration of the remaining country-specific websites is planned for this year.

NGO "Amis des Ecoles"

The non-governmental organization "Amis des écoles" supports rural schools in Morocco with consultancy and materials of any kind in order to secure that children have access to educational opportunities.

"Amis des écoles" provides school and teaching supplies and creates the necessary setting to ensure that students from the Moroccan Atlas region receive a proper school education.

Comartis was responsible for the development of the organization's website which can be viewed on the Internet at www.amisdesecoles.org. Ongoing projects and the varied activities of the organization’s members are presented on the user-friendly and appealing website.

The website was implemented in English and French and has become a meeting point for the many sponsors involved in this cause.

Sponsoring Comartis

For many years now, Comartis has been supporting the Neue Zürcher Orchester and the Schweizer Philharmonie with a sponsorship.

Mr. Martin F. Studer, the initiator of these two organizations, has recently launched a new project.

"Genius Mozart" is the motto of the first Schweizer Musikfestwochen which will take place from 16th September to 29th October 2006 in several Swiss cities.

The colorful music youth festival which tours 11 Swiss cantons has been designed as a cross style, interdisciplinary festival.

All in all, 30 events in the classical, choir, brass band, folk, jazz and improvisation areas, storytelling events in the host art "fairy tales" and a master course in the subject "directing, sponsoring and management" are planned.
