i-qBox e-Learning Forum at Raiffeisenbank in St. Gall

On 9th June 2006, the Raiffeisen Group Switzerland and Comartis organized the first i-qBox e Learning Forum.

Due to customer demand and innovative approaches, Comartis’ i-qBox e-Learning solution has continued to grow in recent years. The presentations by Torsten Maier of Raiffeisen and Frank Schnäbele of Credit Suisse Business School offered those present (customers and interested parties) a practical opportunity to take a look behind the scenes.

Lively conversations about experiences and the use of the i-qBox as well as its future in the scope of the roadmap introduced by Comartis provided a glimpse of things to come.

BayernOnline Preis 2006

On the occasion of the “Internationale IT-Tage München”, Comartis received an award in the category for basic and further education.

The jury explained its decision as follows:
"i-qbox, the e-Learning solution by Comartis, supports the growth of internal e-Learning systems based on company-specific requirements. The solution then forms the basis for analyzing and optimizing the quality of the further education process."

Netviewer Integration: i-qBox Now Featuring Virtual Classrooms
 

On the occasion of the first i-qBox e-Learning Forum of 9th June 2006 at Raiffeisenbank in St. Gall, Comartis AG confirmed its cooperation with Netviewer AG.

Due to the seamless integration of the Netviewer web conferencing tool, i-qBox now offers the possibility to use so-called virtual classrooms for efficient and cost-effective online events.

This enables employees at different locations to participate in live courses with only a few mouse clicks.

In addition to the actual course presentations, the participants can jointly view and – if required – even use different applications. The “Whiteboard” feature, for example, allows the participants to make sketches on a document from their PC.

By winning this public invitation to tender, Comartis has secured an order to deliver and implement the i qBox e-Testing solution.

NEW: SBT Gallery

The Beiersdorf brand SBT Skin Biology Therapy now uses Comartis’ e-business solution i-BizBox to manage advertising, PR and press material.

i-BizBox, an Extranet tool which is already used for the brands La Prairie, Juvena, Silverrain and Marlies Möller, also supports the presentation of digital marketing books.

Digital marketing books can be used as a basis for ordering products from distributors and subsidiaries.

Juvena and American Express

Juvena of Switzerland, a Comartis customer, promotes products of the REJUVEN line via the American Express credit card “Bluecard“. Similar to a retention program, REJUVEN products are offered at special conditions to credit card holders. Comartis was entrusted with the implementation of the complete online ordering workflow.

Of course, security-relevant inquiries had to be taken into account for this project. Once customers have made a product selection and entered their address, the nearest Juvena retail store is displayed, with the help of a georeferencing system.

Orders are transferred to the individual stores via a fax service. The customer and Juvena both receive an order confirmation via email.

In addition, all orders are stored in a database. It is possible to download the database entries in Excel format via an admin interface.

Family Management Shows Encouraging Results

More than two years ago, Comartis was certified as a family-conscious company. Since then, Comartis  has been living and working according to the principles imposed by the "Work-Life Balance" concept.

Comartis was the first company in Switzerland to opt for this certification. In the meantime, companies such as Astra Zeneca, IBM Forschungslabor Rüschlikon and IBM Schweiz have followed.

The philosophy of combining private and work life has positive effects at Comartis: since January 2006, three babies have been born and three employees have decided to get married.
