i-qBox conquers the world

The following two events offered Comartis the possibility to present its i-qBox solution to those interested in a larger setting: Comartis had its own booth at the yearly ASTD International Conference Exposition which took place in Dallas (USA). This year, the US’ largest e-Learning fair again attracted an impressive number of visitors and exhibitors.

In addition, Comartis was represented at the learning summit in Berlin with a workshop. Forty important human resources decision-makers from the German-speaking countries were invited. Quality in the further education process was one of the topics being intensely discussed by the participants. The i-qBox Learning Quality Management module was used to show the practical implementation of this topic.

On an international level, Comartis gained two new customers over the last few weeks. Apart from a US company, the Moroccan post decided to opt for Comartis' i-qBox solution. The June Newsletter will provide further information. Comartis has branch offices in both the USA and Morocco.

Winterthur Versicherungen uses the i-qBox Facility Management System

With a market share of 20%, Winterthur Versicherungen is the leading all-line insurer on the domestic market.

Based on the i-qBox Complete e-Learning Solution, Comartis implements a Facility Management System at Winterthur Versicherungen which includes for example the following functionality:

• Section-specific structuring of courses over a long period of time
• Any number of course times, locations and rooms for each event
• Teacher and teacher qualification management allowing any number of teachers for each event
• Control of overlapping course schedules and of overbooking room and teacher capacities
• Course registration with or without approval flow
• Course participant and cost administration including cancellation penalties
• Availability of detailed registration information for each event (registrations, waiting list, cancelled registrations, people interested)
• Access control (role and authorization management)
• Comprehensive reports: online evaluation of teachers and room utilization, cost center assessment, etc.
• Export of results generated for further processing in MS Excel

The workflow management feature reminds users in time of their course preparation and follow up tasks. The calendar view presents a quick overview of course dates, room reservations and teacher placements.

Centrex Website

Centrex is an international group of companies operating in the natural gas industry, focusing on the extraction and marketing of natural gas reserves.

Centrex entrusted Comartis with the development of a trilingual website (English, German and Russian) representing the corporate group and its activities on the web.

The new website provides information on the Centrex group’s organization, the importance of natural gas, the development of the natural gas market etc. The website’s simple structure and its intuitive navigation features enable users to easily find the information needed. The Russian version of the website is currently being developed.
