Competently
managing on-line recruiting with i-qbox!
Many of the today’s jobs can no longer be filled by relying purely on professional qualifications
and occupational experiences. New technologies and services often require very specific abilities
for which there are no courses and certificates. Hence, companies need more efficient ways to compare
the competence of applicants with their job profiles.
The answer is online recruiting. A process, which allows the contact to a large number of possible
candidates and qualification data by means of on-line tests and/or surveys (self-assessments).
A process, which also can facilitate and accelerate a company’s application and selection processes,
enable cost savings and bring about clear advantages in the employment market.
With this in mind, a new functionality / report has been built into the
i-qbox Human Performance Suite
– the «User Competence Rating» function.
In a company, a new employee is needed. An advertisement is placed on-line.
In this advertisement there is a link, which allows the prospective applicants to apply directly.
On logging in, a screen opens in which the applicant can enter his or her personal details.
If the applicant does not possess the necessary log-in details, he or she must first register. On completing
the registration, an activation link is sent to the applicant. Now the applicant can be asked through the LMS of the
i-qbox Human Performance Suite
to complete various on-line tests and/or surveys.
An applicant, who has logged into the LMS through the activation link, is automatically assigned to a certain user
group and class.
The applicable competences and, if they have been defined, deadlines and judgment levels, too.
After the applicant has completed all his or her tests and/or surveys, the results are valued by means of the
«User Competence Rating» report. The report determines whether and how well a certain competence has been fulfilled
by the applicant. The report can also indicate the results of several applicants and therefore allow comparisons to be made.
If no specific competence is to be evaluated, the report will show how well the applicants fulfill
their personally assigned competences. In the report the applicants are shown in ascending order
on how well they fulfill their competences. If an applicant fulfils a competence 100%, it means
he or she has achieved at least the minimum of all the skills required of the competence. By clicking
on the action icon of a specific applicant, a «skill gap analysis» report is generated and shown.
The «User Competence Rating» function / report can also be used to evaluate the competences of employees.
Comartis way – the competent way!
