Automatic test
optimization with the i-qBox
The further development of
the i-qBox is constantly adapted to current customer requirements.
The i-qBox Testing module now supports automatic optimization
of tests and exercises. So-called item analyses, which are
important for developing new tests, reviewing existing tests and
combining the questions contained in existing tests to create a new
test, form the basis for test optimization.
The implemented item analysis function
statistically checks all the questions in a test by measuring the
following statistical quality criteria: reliability (Cronbach's
Alpha), selectivity and level of difficulty. The item analysis helps
in making the decision as to which question should be kept during
test optimization and included in the final test.
The aim of
an item analysis is the identification of those questions in a test
which contribute little or nothing at all to the reliability and
validity of the test procedure.
With the help of item analyses,
the newly developed functionality makes it possible to
automatically assess the questions included in a test based on the degree
of compliance with the above-mentioned quality criteria. The test is
then cloned and rearranged based on the selected suitable questions.
Of course, the test editor can intervene manually at any
time.

StampCorner
In 2004,
Comartis and StampCorner developed a new and unique type
of online auction for stamps which has in the meantime positioned
itself on the market quite successfully.
At the beginning, Comartis mainly focused on
extending the web-based administration. Towards the end of 2005,
functional adjustments of the auction followed.
These include:
- Extended auction flow. The system now
supports hidden bids, meaning that the system automatically
increases bidding on behalf of the customer.
- Continual coded data transmission
- Server-side generation of PDF invoices
for different invoice types and country regions ensuring simple
computerized handling of payments for customers
- Layout and CMS adjustments
- Extensions in the administration area
Due to these improvements, StampCorner stands out amongst other
online stamp auctions in terms of quality and functionality.

Feldhof: Sales Start for the 7th Stage

After the successful launch of the first six
building stages and the almost complete sale of the planned
apartments, the Wohnüberbauung "Feldhof" project in Zug comes to an
honorable end with the sales start for the 7th and final building
stage. For more than four years now, interested parties as well
as the press have used the mini web of Alfred Müller AG, Baar, to
keep informed about the present state of the project or to apply for
an apartment.
The mini web offers the possibility to view
floor plans, the exact location of each apartment, building
specifications etc. The sale status displayed on the web to
potential buyers is kept up-to-date with the help of the
i-webBox,
the Content Management System developed by Comartis.
