Comartis presents i-qbox Human Performance Suite
for the seventh time at Learntec Suite

Comartis an der Learntec 2009

From February 3rd to 5th, Comartis took part once again at the Learntec convention in Karlsruhe, Germany.
170 exhibitors showed 5200 visitors the entire spectrum of corporate learning management. The repertoire of products and services ranged from technology-based in-firm training applications such as eLearning and Serious Games, all the way to theoretical tools such as advanced learning concepts.

In spite of the difficult economic times the fair was blessed with a high visitor turnout which guaranteed Comartis three successful exhibiting days.
In this challenging time it is especially important not just to keep a strong emphasis on company-internal vocational training and further education, but also to maximise its cost-effectiveness. Comartis demonstrated to numerous interested parties how the i-qbox Human Performance Suite effictively and efficiently offered solutions which met their requirements in the e-Learning realm.

5 x 10 instead of 1 x 100 questions:
faster and more precise results due to adaptive tests

Theoretically, a vast number of questions of varying complexity must be asked to obtain exact information on an employee's level of knowledge. This requires extensive tests that exert greater strain on the interviewed employees that is far above the accepted norm. As a result, the interviewees answer the questions rather carelessly and the test results are not representative.

Multistage Adaptive Testing
MST Multistage Adaptive Testing with 5 x 10 questions

Specifically for highly precise placement tests, i-qbox supports the development of adaptive tests consisting of several blocks where the complexity of the subsequent block depends on the result of the previous block. This allows a more exact assessment of the current level of knowledge of an employee, even though the tests are much shorter. Adaptive tests increase interviewee acceptance and reduce the costs with regard to group-wide assessments.

Adaptive tests are suitable whenever highly accurate information is required. They are also widely used in public education for streaming of students in various subjects. Usually, adaptive tests are performed in supervised testing centers - a procedure that Comartis' i-qbox Human Performance Suite supports by default without the need for installation of local software.
