Comartis to be involved with the Learntec 2007
The 2007 trade fair year kicks off for Comartis with the Learntec
in Karlsruhe, Germany. The fair runs from 13th –
15th February 2007 and once again, Comartis will be represented with its own booth.
Education needs to have a perspective. Accordingly, the 15th Learntec International Convention and Trade
Fair for Educational and Information Technology has taken the motto: "How to get perspective through
education." This year will be the first time that the Messe Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe traid fair site)
will be the venue for this largest convention and trade fair for the application of educational and
information technology as well as for the broad field of knowledge management.
We would like to provide you with more information, over a cup of coffee, about current developments
in e-learning, and regarding the i-qBox e-Learning Solution
in particular. We will be at booth B 76
in hall 4. You may request admission vouchers through us for your visit to the Learntec.
Once more, Comartis will also be organizing a workshop at the Learntec this year:
-
Quality Management within the Further Education Process
Thursday, 15th February 2007, from 10 am – 12:30 pm
Venue: Messe Kongress Center – Conference Room 4, Workshop W7
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Learntec!

Another two WBTs now in online use at Suva (Swiss Accident Insurance Fund)
As in the case of the first WBT, the new learning programs
"Obligatorisch versicherte Personen" (compulsorily insured persons), and "Prämienrechnungen, Lohnbegriff
und Betriebsrevisionen" (premium notes, pay concept and company auditing) are now being used for
employee training at Suva. Both WBTs are replacing presence learning based fundamental training at Suva.
The user is led through the complete WBT with interactive case studies. The combination of case studies,
learning material, control questions and interactive graphics ensures that the WBT and its contents are
both easy to understand and interesting. Both female and male voices are used in presenting the contents
of each study topic.
Suva is increasingly reliant on online media for training and further education purposes.

Betty Bossi
At the beginning of January 2007, after an intensive reengineering project of about nine months, the
Betty Bossi Verlag AG website went live on Comartis' servers. Comartis is taking responsibility for
project management, development and implementation as well as hosting and support.
The online platform www.bettybossi.ch
links a culinary website of the highest caliber to one of Switzerland's most successful online shops and
to an extensive new recipe database.
Content-related and technical highlights in all areas provide a solid basis for all current and future
requirements of this high-traffic platform:
- i-WebBox CMS with comprehensive version management
- Integration of both navigation and shop
databases
- Area-specific access rights
- Online administration interface for
products, orders, recipes, etc.
- Fully automated matching with the goods management system

Rigikaltbad

Rigi will soon have another landmark. New construction is about to start 1,400 meters above sea level,
and this will include Panorama freehold apartments, a holiday and seminar hotel with convention center as
well as the Rigibad bathing complex with spa facilities. The project, designed by star architect Mario
Botta, should be ready for occupancy in autumn 2009.
Alfred-Müller AG has already put
Comartis in charge of implementing a micro website for the Rigikaltbad
project. The colors used in its design are meant to remind users of the mountains and lakes around
Rigikaltbad. Comartis managed to launch the micro website in time for the new year.
Apart from the Rigikaltbad micro website, Comartis designed the corporate
website of Alfred-Müller AG as well as the micro websites for the Feldhof development
and the Belvedere residential park in Zug.
Comartis was also commissioned with creating the logo for the Rigikaltbad project.

Ueli Vetsch Betty
Bossi Head of Publishing | «Thank you very much indeed for implementing
this complex project on schedule. It is only due to the enormous and exemplary commitment as well
as the concomitant sacrifices of all concerned that this was possible. It is very rarely possible
for an extensive and complex project of this nature to be implemented in such a short period and,
what is more, within the time planned.»
