On the 16th to 19th May, 2010, thousands of learning and performance professionals from around the world gathered in Chicago to attend the annual American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) International Conference & Exposition.

The event, the largest of its kind, welcomed over 8,500 attendees from more than 70 countries, featured 350 educational and networking sessions, and had as many as 340 exhibitors present.

New this year was a “Global Village” - a room designed to promote the exchange of discoveries between attendees. This international “exchange center” was an excellent platform for Comartis to highlight the Human Performance Suite’s multilingual functionality and international adaptability. 

Comartis’ CEO, Omar Lahyani, Americas VP of Sales, David Armistead, Americas Business Development Manager, Walter Huber, Middle East Sales Manager, Amine Hanafi and US Technical Support, Gavin Ng, were all fully engaged in discussions and addressing the enquires of visitors to the Comartis booth in their quest of more information on the Human Performance Suite.

A highlight of the exhibition was a meeting with the legendary founders of the renowned Kirkpatrick learning model, Don and Jim Kirkpatrick. The latter promoting his new book “Training on Trial” in a book signing session.  

In summary, this memorable event focused on new inspirational industry trends. Comartis’ Human Performance Suite being amongst the leading assessment and training development products being showcased.
