Following last year’s deveploment and online activation of Polaroid Eyewear’s new extranet „Gallery“ and administration interface (see Digital Warehouse, Comartis News September 2009), this year the company has launched a new website, fully developed by Comartis.
On the website viewers can browse Polariod’s entire eyecare collection and brands as well as find information on the company itself, its revolutionary polarization technology and current communication campaigns. For Polariod partners, there is a direct link to the Gallery. Currently only in English, there are plans to soon deliver the website in other languages.
To facilitate maintenance, the website as well as the Gallery are managed through the same user-friendly adminstration interface. All information is stored centrally to allow both the website and Gallery to be managed simultanmeously. Of benefit is that no previous programming knowledge is required to use the administration interface.
